The end... is only the beginning
People are saying how 2019 has flown by and that it's ending so soon. I feel that too, but there's one thing I'm more bittersweet about.
I've been writing in my diary since may2018. I don't write every single day, I only write when I want to or have the time to. The notebook is a gift from Rain (original name Sky) from when she went to England. It has Harry Styles faces on the cover and the back. Yes, I am a directioner. The thing is, I don't listen to their songs every single day 24/7 anymore, but every time I listen to their songs, it makes me feel like home. Home.
About a week ago, I've already been choosing a notebook for my next diary. I was all excited and that about starting a new diary, but I didn't realise it'd be... kind of sad to end this one. It's my first ever time finishing a notebook. A diary. This feeling is... weird.
I just have to keep reassuring myself, the notebook is always going to be here if I want to look back at it. There's nothing to be sad about. I might've mentioned in past blog posts that I don't like changes. I like things the way they are and I want them to stay that way forever. I know it's impossible. I guess this is a way to train myself to accept the coming new start(s).
Early happy new year, friends!
