Online friends

So a few weeks ago, I started using discord to join fandom servers. Most of the ones I joined were... kinda dead. Well, all of them were. But on one of the servers, there was this person who kept on trying to start a conversation... but kinda failing. So I decided to respond to her on the server more often. (I was too shy to talk in the other servers with bigger fandoms, with like 2K ppl). This one only had a little over a hundred. So we started talking on the server or in dms since then. Her name's Rawnie. (I love that name, it sounds adorable.)

And it wasn't long until we noticed something magical happening. Others started responding on the server more often! Now we have a little group of 6 who are *alive*, including Rawnie and I.

AND, our fandom server is so so warm and nice compared to other servers. When someone joins, like 8 of us send a 'welcome!' or 'hi!'. That's just so wholesome, I love it there.

So uh, yea. There's a downside though. Rawnie (along with some of the others) and I have huge time difference. Like 12 hours? It's kinda cool though. I really like hanging out virtually with them. Everything simple, everyone nice and sincere, it's a happy place. (We play games on the server as well!)

Permission

Heya! It's been so long since I've written on here so I don't even think you guys know this but - I'm in uni! Been a long way, hasn't it. I was just reading my old posts and... jeez, I've grown so much mentally (not so much physically lol), and I lowkey miss just blurting out whatever was bothering me or what I have been contemplating about. I also just miss contemplating in general. Now that I'm in uni and have work and a busier social life than secondary school, I have less and less time to pause and just - think.
